Returning to virtual estate agency

So here we are again, Lockdown 3.0. I hope this finds you all safe and healthy. Let’s face it, current circumstances have made us reassess our priorities and realise that the well being of ourselves and our nearest and dearest was something that we were taking for granted. With us being back in our homes it is also leading to the way that a lot of businesses are connecting with their customers. Living in the age of digital connectivity has certainly helped with that.

Many of us have ventured into uncharted waters and dip our toes into video calling through such systems as Facetime, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. A way to see those loved ones we can’t visit at this time. A way to travel distances short and long without leaving the comfort of home.

Estate agents too are embracing the virtual world. Having been considered one of a few industries to stay open beyond those of key workers (whether you agree with it or not) we are open for business and intent on keeping our customers and staff safe at all times.

Here at Poole Townsend, we have been diligently working to maintain our high standard of Covid secure practices whilst successfully marketing our customers’ properties and, most importantly, agreeing sales to allow them to move on.

Digital media allows us to create and send ‘virtual viewings’ of all of our marketed properties. This provides a comprehensive tour of a property that you can experience without having to physically be there before deciding if you would like to take the next step and visit the next ‘home of your dreams’ in person.

For those of you thinking about marketing we also offer the opportunity to have a virtual appraisal. By guiding our valuer through your home via a video call we can offer our advice and expertise without you having to take any unnecessary risks. It’s always nice for us to experience the ambience of a property but in these strange times, we understand peoples differing thoughts and feelings on physical meetings.

As the country continues to recover and the property market continues to thrive we endeavour to responsibly provide the support and assistance that we have prided ourselves on for so long. Maybe not always face to face for now but hopefully again soon.
