I got a leaflet the other day, stuffed in with all the junk mail, asking me if I thought my assets were safe and inviting me to a seminar. Ooh, the nerve.
If I wanted advice on protecting my assets, I would ask a local lawyer, wouldn’t I?
If I was going to reveal all, I would want to do it with someone I have heard of before, who has been in the town as long as I can remember and will be here for years to come.
If I was going to put something in place that might not be needed for another 10 or 20 years, would I not want to make sure that I, or my children, can walk through that same door and talk to the same people or at least the next generation in the same business, as did everything for me in the first place.
I don’t know anything about this firm of Legal Executives that are mailshotting our local area but I have seen the outcome of other planning done by Will Writing specialists and Trusts advisors who have a set formula that they stick to come what may. They have the solution, they just need you to fit the problem.
Please come and see us, or another local, established legal firm, if you want advice on your future planning. Powers of Attorney, Will planning and making Trusts all need to be tailored to you and your specific aims and needs. Put the mailshots in the bin.
