Your role will assist the fee earners in the Probate department to ensure a professional service is provided to our clients in line with our Customer Service Standards. The role involves assisting with the administration and distribution of estates, preparing, working with and registering Powers of Attorney, preparation of wills and administering trusts. In addition you will provide general administrative/secretarial support. In addition you will be the first point of contact for our Furness Building Society agency at the office.
You must be customer focused and able to demonstrate that you can use your own initiative, have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines, a sympathetic and professional approach to clients and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office.
A qualification to RSA level II word processing (or equivalent experience), experience of audio typing and Knowledge/Experience of Probate procedures is desirable however, these qualifications and experience are not essential as we will provide full training to the right candidate. Team work and Competent IT skills are essential.
