Trystan Roberts

Trystan joined Poole Townsend in 1993 after gaining his law degree at Liverpool University and law society finals at Chester Law School. Completing his training in 1995 he stayed with the firm and became a partner 2003.

Trystan's practise is now exclusively criminal defence work and he has built a highly respected, experienced and approachable team. He deals with all aspects of criminal defence work with a caseload ranging from minor motoring and all magistrates court matters to Crown court cases of serious violence and sexual offences, murder, international money laundering and large scale drugs conspiracies.

A law society accredited 24 hour court and police station duty solicitor Trystan represents clients in the magistrates court on a daily basis and if not there his wife can usually contact him at the police station!

His firm belief is that all clients deserve a robust and proactive defence team to advance their rights regardless of the nature of the allegation.

Since starting his career in Barrow he has managed to persuade Tracie to be his wife (he says probably the best bit of advocacy he has done!) and they have a wonderful son. He enjoys exercise, running, travel, the Arts and politics. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his family.
