On August 4th, Poole Townsend’s Barrow based Sales Negotiator, Danielle Pattinson will take to the skies for her first charity skydive.
Danielle comments: “This year I have already completed the 40 mile Keswick to Barrow walk and achieved a personal best time but I wanted to do something else for charity, something a little different. As I’d kept my feet firmly on the ground walking in the Keswick to Barrow, I thought, why not reach for the sky, so a skydive it is”.
Danielle’s chosen charity, The Bluebell Foundation, provides support for people experiencing grief associated with a loss during pregnancy, a life limiting or life threatening illness or the death of a baby or child.
Bluebell offers support and information to parents, families and others affected by:
• the death of a baby, before or after birth or through childhood
• the life-limiting or life threatening illness of a baby or child
• infertility and related circumstances
• early termination of a pregnancy
• facing difficult decisions relating to pregnancy
They also provide training and support to professionals working with bereavement.
This charity does not receive any government funding and relies solely upon donations.
